Sharing Best Practices…Updates and Assessment
What is happening in ESP projects in Central New York?
What assessment tools are successfully being used in these projects?
Presenters:  Team members of CNY ESP Projects

CNY Empire State Partnerships Participants:
Representatives from each school and cultural organization should plan to attend.  Please share this info with your ESP colleagues. This is part of your commitment to the ESP community

The CNY RLLN is a premier network of NYSCA funded organizations connecting the region’s art community with the school community to:
  • Foster a deeper understanding of culture and the arts
  • Promote quality and diversity of art in the CNY area
  • Expand learning opportunities for youth

During our Summer Seminar meeting we noted that the CNY RLLN has a number of new partnerships, and many changes have occurred within long-term collaborations.  We determined that an opportunity to mentor new groups and update one another on our current practice would be beneficial to all.
Each team should prepare a short 20 minute presentation about your ESP project to share with the group in the morning.  The afternoon session will be devoted to assessment.  Please bring samples of assessment/evaluation methods/tools that your partnership uses.  The NYSCA Evidence of Teacher and Student Learning Template will also be discussed.

There will be a stipend of $50 for attendance by ESP partnership members.
Please car pool…one person from each partnership will receive $150 for travel expenses.

Please RSVP Marlene as soon as you know how many are coming so we know how much food to order from the wonderful caterer in Hamilton.  Melissa Davies, our most hospitable host at the Picker Art Gallery will also need to know how many chairs to set up.  She has assured me that there will be plenty of extension cords, so bring your laptop.  Bring a jump/flash/thumb drive so you can share/copy info from other partnerships.
