Our project focuses on integrating music, cultural dance ,and theater arts  into  core classroom subject areas. Teaching artists and classroom teachers work closely to align NYS Learning Standards through the arts.

Within this integration process many special programs take place like our annual Welcome to the Village pesentation which last year focused on Waters of the World and was part of the UN World Water Day celebrations. This year our school wide presentation is focused on the effect of global warming on animals around the world.   Through dance, music ,and original skits students blend theater art, global conservation concerns, and learning standards.

Our integration process places a strong emphasis on preparing our students to be global citizens.
